Friday 10th September 2010

IF YOU ARE LIVING ON YOUR OWN, away from your family home OR if your family is experiencing financial hardship, you may want to apply for the Vic High lunch program.  Application forms are available from Youth and Family Counsellors – Anne Field or Lisa Roy, whose offices are located across from Room 208, or Mark Shermeta whose office is located in the Fairey Tech building – Room 201.  Students who received the lunch program last year need to re-apply.  The lunch program will begin on Monday, 13 September for those students who have applied and have been accepted.

SCHOOL DEPOSITS:  can be paid in the Main Office – before school, over lunch or after school.

SCHOOL PHOTOS will take place on Tuesday, 14 September.

WANT TO HAVE FUN and make a great group of friends ?  Come to the Rowing Club meeting in the Library right after school today.  You need to be able to treat water and eat lots of pasta.  See Mrs. Jee in the Library for more details.

FIELD HOCKEY PRACTICE starts on Monday, 13 September in the gym after school.  All current players and anyone else interested in learning to play, are welcome !  Sonya, Dylan and Rachelle – please see Mrs. Hawkins in the gym.

VIC HIGH ENVIRONMENT CLUB:  the First meeting will be on Monday, 13^th September at lunch time in Room 201 in the Fairey Tech. building.  We welcome NEW MEMBERS too !!

LEADERSHIP STUDENTS have their first meeting on Tuesday, 14^th September, at lunch time in Room 104.

PLATFORM 61:  reminder of Sunday Rehearsal for ALL Platform dancers for the next 2 weeks – enter by the back fire exit – 11am – 5pm.

BOYS’ SOCCER TEAM try-out on Monday at 3:30pm on the main field.
